Reply to every Story
worth replying to.
EngageMate finds prospects among the followers of your inspiration accounts, checks their active Stories, and sends a like or Story reply from your account. It skips private profiles and existing relationships. A Story reply lands in their DMs, attached to what they posted.
One dedicated residential proxy · one stable fingerprint · a warm-up ramp

The job
A Story reply is the best opener
on Instagram. Nobody can do it at scale.
Replying to someone's Story lands in their DMs, attached to the thing they just posted. It is not cold, and it is not ignorable. It is also completely impractical by hand once you are watching more than a handful of accounts.
- Open the app, scroll the tray, hope you caught it in time
- Stories expire in 24 hours, so missing a morning is missing the window
- Quality drops as volume rises, and it reads like it
- Across a client roster it stops being possible at all
- Every target checked on your schedule, every day
- A vision model reads the Story itself, so the reply references what is in it
- The voice is yours, set per account, and gated before it sends
- Caps and pacing keep it inside what the account can carry
On Instagram
A like, a reply,
or a DM.
Engagement starts from an active Story. You can also choose to follow a prospect after a successful Like or Story reply. In Settings, automatic unfollow can remove that follow after five days, or you can turn it off to keep following them.

You replied to her story
That blue tile against the limestone is such a good call. Did it come with the house?Lands as a DMwe picked it! took us months to decide
The Story photo is our own. The Instagram interface around it is drawn, not captured, and none of this is a customer result.
Voice
It should sound like the account.
Not like a bot.
Write the voice in your own words, up to 2,000 characters. The model drafts from what the Story actually shows, in that voice. Then a deterministic gate reads every message before it sends: banned phrases never go out, and neither does anything off-language.
Voice is set per Instagram account. Run five accounts and no two of them sound alike.
Every reply is written by the strongest model we run. There is no cheaper tier that quietly handles your smaller accounts.

The loop
Five steps, every day, per account.
- 01watchCheck each target for an active Story
- 02readA vision model reads the Story for actual context
- 03decideLike, reply, DM, or skip
- 04gateDeterministic check before anything sends
- 05sendOne action, at a human pace
Inspecting a Story is not an action. Nothing is sent until the decision clears the gate, the budget has room, and the pacing window opens.
See the whole loop →Safety
The account has to survive
the volume.
Instagram has no official API for engaging with other people's Stories, so EngageMate drives a real browser. That is a risk, and the product is built around it rather than quiet about it.

When an account hits resistance, the worker holds back before anything escalates. On a challenge, checkpoint, or login signal it stops entirely and tells you why.
Read the safety model →The alternatives
Compare it to what
you are doing now.
There are three honest ways to do this: yourself, a generic growth bot, or a person you hire. Here is where each one wins and where it does not.
Follow/unfollow and mass-like tools. Cheap, high volume, and the reason Instagram automation has the reputation it has.
Dedicated IP per account
Not a shared pool
Shared datacenter pools are the pattern platforms detect first. A pooled IP means someone else's behaviour is your risk.
Stable fingerprint per account
Same machine every session
One browser image across every customer is as identifiable as one IP.
Reads the actual story
Not hashtag or keyword matching
Targeting by hashtag cannot tell a product launch from a funeral.
Writes in your voice
Per account, not per tool
Spun templates read as templates, which is what gets reported.
Refuses to send its own output
A deterministic gate before send
Nothing in a template engine can decline to send the template.
Stops at the first challenge
Rather than retrying into a ban
Retry loops are how a flagged account becomes a banned one.
Cheapest option
They are cheaper. The account is the thing you are paying with.
These compare approaches, not brands. Every row states what EngageMate does and what a category does by definition. We do not publish claims about specific competitors' internals, because we cannot verify them and neither can you.

Three account terms, three different jobs
- Managed Instagram accounts
- The accounts you connect and EngageMate operates from. Your plan limit applies to these accounts.
- Audience source accounts
- Public accounts whose followers guide discovery. They do not use a managed-account slot.
- Audience targets
- Individual people EngageMate may view or engage with. The target limit applies separately to each managed account.

Free to sign up, connect a managed account, and set its voice. You pick a plan when you want it to start running. Past your monthly engagements, overage is opt-in at $0.08 per successful engagement, and it is off until you turn it on.
A skipped, gated, duplicate, or failed attempt is never billed. Only an action that actually sent counts.
